What Participants Learn
• Garment Construction: Making shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses, and uniforms
• Pattern Drafting & Cutting: Precision techniques for professional results
• Sewing Machine Mastery: Handling industrial and domestic machines efficiently

• Business & Entrepreneurship Skills: Marketing, pricing, and managing a small tailoring business.

• Length: 12 months (year-long comprehensive program)
• Format: Hands-on practical sessions, classroom guidance, and mentorship
• Outcome: Graduate gain the confidence to start their own tailoring business or find employment in garment shops and fashion studios

At Kazi Mingi Foundation, our Tailoring Program equips young women with the skills they need to build sustainable careers in tailoring and fashion design. From making shirts, dresses, skirts, and small business skills, our graduates leave the program ready to earn income and support their families. 50 women are ready to start training in 2026 but we need your support!
