Incorporated as a not-for-profit community based organization, Kazi Mingi Foundation has a mandate to help and support disadvantaged children, and sustain livelihoods for the most vulnerable members of the community. KAZI VOCATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE
Empowering Youth
The institute is accredited as an assessment center to conduct Competence Based Assessment in line with Uganda Vocational Qualification Framework (UVQF).

Kazi Vocational Training Institute was started by our foundation. This institute trains young Ugandans on vocational skills and helps them to build self-confidence by allowing them to utilize their unique gifts and talents in generating income from self employment and meaningful employment. Some of the courses are:
- Cake Making
- Mat Making
- Shoe Making
- Tailoring & Fashion Design
- Welding & Metal Fabrication
- Hair Dressing & Cosmetology
