At Kazi Mingi Foundation, we believe that learning a skill is only the beginning. True transformation happens when young women and youth gain the confidence, knowledge, and support to turn their skills into profitable, sustainable businesses.

Our Entrepreneurship and Business Program equips trainees with practical business skills that enable them to start, manage, and grow small enterprises-creating income for themselves and employment opportunities for others in their communities.

In many communities across Uganda, young people have talent and skills but luck:

Without these, many skills go unused. This program bridges that gap by helping our graduates move from training to earning our graduates move from training to earning, and from survival to self-reliance.

What Participants Learn

Our training is practical, hands-on, and tailored for small and informal businesses common in our communities.
Participants learn:
• Business idea Development – identifying viable business opportunities
• Basic Business Management – planning, pricing, and customer care
• Financial Literacy – saving, budgeting, and record keeping
• Marketing & Sales Skills – confidence, discipline, and resilience
• Entrepreneurial Mindset – confidence, discipline, and resilience
• Startup Readiness – preparing to launch or improve an existing business
